The meeting was called to order by Stan Ross; present were Bob Gauthier, Bob Lazzarini, Don Clawson. The business of this meeting, which was continued three times, was to review the 45 requests for real estate and personal property tax abatements that were submitted by Monterey property owners. Five of the requests required field reviews. Of the 45 requests, 34 were denied, 2 were not acted upon because of incorrect or other procedural errors, 8 were granted, and 1 remains under review, pending a decision by the Bureau of Municipal Finance Law. The 8 abatements granted thus far total $2,412.98.
The meeting was adjourned at 12:00 Monday, May 15, ’06.
